Ezumi Harzani is the Immediate Past President of Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) and a board member of Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM). He is also the Chairman of Green Building Index Sdn Bhd, a company jointly owned by PAM and ACEM in implementing green and sustainable development rating tools. He is appointed as a member of the Council of Architecture Accreditation and Education Malaysia since 2010. Currently, he sits as a member of the Focus Group in Dealing with Construction Permit (FGDCP) formed under PEMUDAH since 2012 and as the Advisory Board member of Kuala Lumpur City Hall since 2015.

In architecture practice, he is a Director at Arkitek MAA Sdn Bhd, one of the larger architecture practices and a winner of various awards including PAM Architecture Awards, CNBC Asia Pacific Property Award, MIP Excellence in Planning Awards and BCI Asia Top 10 Architects Awards. In his career with Arkitek MAA, he led the implementation of many projects, including hospitals, apartments, office buildings and MRT stations. He is also a recipient of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) President’s Medal. He graduated with Bachelor of Architecture from University of Science Malaysia, and Master of Philosophy (Policy Studies) from University of Technology Malaysia.
